David Archuleta to perform at The Grove of Anaheim on December 29
David Archuleta will be performing live in concert at the Grove of Anaheim on December 29th. Showtime will be at 8:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $ 32.50- $ 42..50 and will go on sale this Saturday, November 13 at 12 noon.
Archuleta recently released his sophomore effort Other Side of Down. 19 Recordings/Jive Records launched the album with the upbeat single, “Something ‘Bout Love” co-written by Archuleta, Sam Hollander, Dave Katz and Chris DeStefano and produced by S*M* & Sluggo.
Earlier this year, David Archuleta earned the distinction of the “Best American Idol ever” in a Billboard magazine reader poll. Archuleta was the American Idol Season 7 runner-up in 2008. The 19-year-old Utah native received accolades for his self-titled 2008 debut. The album contained the hit song “Crush,” which has sold over 2.3 million digital units to date, and went on to sell over 750,000 albums. Last year, he released a seasonal album, Christmas From The Heart.
In June 2010, Archuleta penned his first book Chords of Strength: A Memoir of Soul, Song, And The Power of Perseverance which debuted on the New York Times Best Seller list. The autobiography chronicles lessons he’s learned in his young life so far and encourages young people to follow their dreams.
